Dr. Nagar has completed his Ph.D. in Accounting from IIM Calcutta and is a subject-matter expert in financial accounting, financial statement analysis, corporate governance, and earnings manipulation. A member of the European Accounting Association, his insights have been featured in several research papers on various accounting and corporate governance topics. His research interests are focused on the ever-evolving financial analysis field vis-à-vis Financial Reporting Quality and Disclosures, Corporate Governance, and Executive Compensation. Dr. Nagar has received the Best Paper Award (2013) and Midyear Meeting Research Scholarship (2017) from the American Accounting Association.
