Course Curriculum

Programme Objective

Eligibility Criteria

Participants will be selected on the basis of their overall profile and eligibility criteria stated as a pre-requisite for the programme.

Select applicants may be interviewed by Programme Directors, if required

The Institute has laid down an attendance criterion to be followed by participants attending the programme.

A minimum of 75 % overall attendance is required by the participant in order to complete the programme.

Participants will not be awarded any certificate if they do not maintain the requisite attendance (75%). In this case the status of the participant will be “incomplete”.

Methodology, Evaluation and Certification

The progress of participants will be continuously assessed through quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations. Participants must achieve a minimum score/grade, determined by the Institute, to successfully complete the course.

The participants who will complete the programme successfully will be eligible for the Certificate of Completion & Executive Education Alumni status of IIM Indore. They will be required to apply separately along with the necessary fee to register their name. Current alumni membership plans are as follows:
• 2-year membership – INR 1000/- + applicable taxes,
• Lifetime membership – INR 10,000/- + applicable taxes

Benefits available to Executive Education Alumni:
1) Communication of brochures and newsletters from IIM Indore
2) Access to the IIM Indore Campus Library (onsite access only)

Mere successful completion of the programme, application submission, and fee does not entitle a participant to be eligible for executive education alumni status. IIM Indore reserves the right to confer or withhold executive education alumni status.

Programme Director

Prof. Punyashlok Dwibedy Programme Director
Punyashlok Dwibedy has completed his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in Strategy. His thesis explores the factors impacting firms’ technological choices and how these choices affect firm performance. Prior to joining IIM Indore, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Ahmedabad University from August 2021 to May 2022. He has also worked as Manager-Corporate Business in HDFC ERGO General Insurance from 2014-2016 in Hyderabad.

Punyashlok holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT, Nagpur. He is a native of Odisha and has his parental home in Cuttack.

His research interests include innovation and technological choices of firms, combination of innovation practices affecting firm performance, and entrepreneurship. His publications include “Informal competition and product innovation decisions of new ventures and incumbents across developing and transitioning countries”.

His teaching interests include Technology and Firm Strategy, Strategic Management, Strategy and Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets. He has co-authored a case on the acquisition of a foreign firm by an Indian family business, named, “Tega Industries: The South Africa Acquisition” published by the IIM Ahmedabad Case Centre and available on Harvard Business Cases Store. The case has been awarded the “Madan Mohanka Research on Internationalization of Business Award” for the year 2021 at IIM Ahmedabad.

What is the attendance criteria?

Participants are required to attend all sessions of a given course. In case of emergencies, participation in management festivals, co-curricular activities, and other valid reasons, participants may seek leave, which is subject to approval by the Programme Director. However, it’s important to note that a minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory for the final grading.

Is there any fee that needs to be paid to register with IIM Indore executive education alumni?

Participants who have successfully completed the programme need to apply separately to register their names with the IIM Indore Executive Education Alumni. This registration requires a fee of INR 1000 + applicable taxes for a 2-year membership and INR 10,000 + applicable taxes for a Lifetime membership.

Please note that the one-time fee for the Executive Alumni Status, which is an add-on to the programme fee, is subject to revision based on the discretion of the IIM Indore management.
