XLRI Jamshedpur – Executive Development Programme in HR Business Partnering

Indian participants are required to hold a graduation degree (10+2+3) or a diploma (10+2+3) from a recognized university approved by the UGC, AICTE, DEC, AIU, or the State Government in any discipline. Diploma holders with relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. International participants must hold a degree equivalent to a graduation degree from a recognized university or institution in their respective country. Additionally, participants should have relevant work experience: a minimum of 2 years for HR professionals and 5 years for non-HR professionals.

The programme includes a 2-day on-campus immersion towards the end and attendance is mandatory for all participants. During this time, you’ll be presenting projects that apply the concepts you’ve learned throughout the programme. It’s also a great chance to experience the XLRI campus, interact with faculty members and network with your batch mates. You’ll spend these two days engaging with peers and faculty and making the most of the programme’s practical applications.

The pedagogy is designed to be engaging and interactive. You’ll learn through a mix of live lectures, case studies, simulations, group assignments, and presentations. Our faculty will guide you through hands-on experiences, live projects, and small group feedback sessions. We’ll use real-life examples from organizations to illustrate key concepts, making it easier to apply them in your work. Throughout the course, you’ll have the flexibility to reach out to professors during class or via the Cloud Campus to clarify doubts. We encourage you to ask questions and address your concerns during module sessions or your campus visit.

As part of the programme, you’ll work on a live project under the guidance of one of our faculty members. You’ll choose a guide from the programme’s faculty, and if you’re unable to secure a guide, our programme directors will step in to support you. Each guide will dedicate 30 minutes at 2-3 stages to handhold you through the project. When it’s time to present, most participants will showcase their projects during the campus component. However, due to time constraints, some participants may be randomly selected to present their projects online instead.

Yes, after successfully completing the programme, you can apply for Executive Alumni status from XLRI. Please note that registration for Executive Alumni status is optional and requires an additional fee of INR 20,000 plus GST.

Participants will attend live online sessions on the VCNow  platform through direct-to-desktop (D2D) mode. Additionally, they will have the unique opportunity to visit XLRI Jamshedpur’s campus for an intensive 2-day on-campus immersion. The live online sessions are scheduled on Sundays (9:30 AM to 12: 45 PM) to accommodate working professional’s busy schedules. Participants will have access to a dedicated learning platform, and you’ll be supported by a team of experts who will guide you throughout the programme.

The total programme fee is INR 2,15,000 + GST, payable in 4 instalments:
Instalment 1: INR 60,000 + GST (at the time of registration)
Instalment 2: INR 55,000 + GST (On or before 15 Dec 2025)
Instalment 3: INR 50,000 + GST (On or before 15 Feb 2026)
Instalment 4: INR 50,000 + GST (On or before 15 Apr 2026)

For bulk nominations from corporates, the following discount structure applies: |
– 3 to 5 students: up to 5% off the academic fee
– 6 to 10 students: up to 7.5% off the academic fee
– 11 to 15 students: up to 10% off the academic fee
– More than 15 students: up to 15% off the academic fee
